The 1975 frontman Matthew Healy has coyly admitted that he's interested in Taylor Swift.

In a recent radio interview on Shazam Top 20, the Girls singer was asked about Swift, who attended the band’s gig in Hollywood.

“I met Taylor Swift, that was really nice,” Matt told host Angus O’Loughlin.

“We exchanged numbers. Let’s see what happens.”

After the host predicted the pair will be the next big couple, Matt admitted that he would date the Shake It Off singer.

“You’re calling that, are you? Let’s just see what happens”, he answered.

“I mean bloody hell, what am I going to do? Go out with Taylor Swift? She’s a sensation, I wouldn’t say no.”

Swifty did attend one of theband's shows withBFF Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding before this year’s American Music Awards in LA, and posted a series of polaroids from the gig.

The singer even favourited a tweet of a near-shirtless Matt after the gig.
