Teen Mom UK's Naomi Konickova Explains Why She's Taking A Break From The Show - EXCLUSIVE
Last year, we met five incredible young mums and followed their journey into parenthood on MTV's brand new show, Teen Mom UK, which has since been confirmed for a second series starting Wednesday 26th July.
However, Naomi Konickova, who we met along with her daughter Kyanna and Kyanna's dad Raphael Poitou in series one, has since announced that she'll be taking a break from the show this time, explaining that she's taking time to focus on other things.
WATCH NAOMI EXPLAIN WHY SHE'S TAKING A BREAK FROM TEEN MOM UK IN THIS EXCLUSIVE VIDEO:
Speaking exclusively to MTV, Naomi explained: "I wanted to take a break from Teen Mom UK series two because I really feel like I need to focus on my career and really try to build a future for Kyanna."
Naomi is hoping for a career in the beauty world as we saw in series one, where she attended a convention and showed her off amazing skills as a make-up artist.
Naomi, though, added that she's got more of her story to share with us, saying: "I would so come back for another series, I'd love to. I've got so much of my life to share and you definitely haven't seen the last of me."
She continued to say the reaction to series one had been 'really good' and thanked fans for 'uplifting' her with their support, adding that she has been recognised when she's been out and about.
Giving us an update on how adorable Kyanna is getting on, Naomi told MTV: "Kyanna has grown up so much, honestly like she has got the craziest little personality, she's so sassy. I can really see her personality coming through, like now, she can actually say three-word sentences and she's really sweet. Whenever I'm down, she taps me on the back and says 'it's okay mummy, it's okay. Don't cry', and stuff like that. Honestly, she's my best friend, she's so great."
Aww!
Naomi has, however, explained that her relationship with Raphael is not good at the moment, saying: "We don't talk at all, we don't talk anymore at all. I feel like it's the best, but in a way, we've lost that communication for Kya.
"Now I'm really trying to built that up and hopefully we get to a good place where we can both talk and where we can just both just be happy and get on with our lives and we don't have to argue every single time we're on the phone."
As for any other boys that might cross Naomi's path? Well, she's got a strong message for them: "I hate boys, I don't them to be near me, I don't want them to breathe on me, I don't want them to touch me, I don't want them to call me, I don't want them to text me. Stay away."
We can't wait to see what's next for Naomi and where her career leads her.
