Taylor Swift has famously used her break-up with Harry Styles as an inspiration for her work as a songwriter.

And he recently returned the favour in a song that appears to express his regret at their split.

But now it's reported that the 20-year-old One Direction star has put his money where his mouth is, by sending his ex-GF 1,989 red roses in an attempt to woo her back.

T-Swizzle has conquered the world with her latest album 1989 since it was released a fortnight ago, and Hazza's roses are apparently intended to be a congratulatory message as well as a romantic gesture.

The Daily Mail quotes a source as telling New Weekly Magazine: "Harry's been plaguing Taylor with texts and calls, begging for a rematch."

And he claimed to have been "talking about how much he's matured" in his chats with the 24-year-old target of his affections.
