Fans Think Taylor Swift Actually Co-Wrote This Is What You Came For With Calvin Harris And The Evidence Is Pretty Convincing
While Talvin may be over, fans have given hope that the memory of Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris’ epic romance will live on through sweet, sweet music.
Or more specifically, through the DJ’s Rihanna collaboration ‘This Is What You Came For’.
Earlier this week, talk amongst fans was rife that Swifty leant her backing vocals to the ‘owww’ parts of the track. However, this hasnow evolved into a new theory that Taylor and Calvin actually wrote song together.
BUT WHERE’S THE EVIDENCE WE HEAR YOU CRY?
Well….
Firstly, the Wikipedia page for the track initially listed Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift as the co-writers. However, the singer’s name has since been replaced by Nils Sjöberg.
But a Wikipedia page can be edited by anyone, you say!
True, however, the evidence grows…
Fans are convinced that the mysterious Nils Sjöberg is in fact a pseudonym used by Taylor.
If you search for Nils Sjöberg on Google (or Bing if that’s your thing, no judgement), you will eventually find him. And he is indeed an artist, just not one that worked with Calvin.
Oh and long time collboarator of CalvinJohn Newman previosuly tweeted this ahead of the song's release...
WHY MENTION TAYLOR?!
Add this to the fact that when the song first dropped, Taylor was basically a one woman advertising campaign for it, and we have some very convincing receipts.
So if this is all true, then TIWYCF is in fact Talvin’s swansong. And what a song to go out on.
