Stefflon Don is having a rollercoaster year right now. Not only is her Jax Jones and Demi Lovato collaboration 'Instruction' one of the songs of the summer but newmajor label debut 'Hurtin' Me' is already rising up the charts and garneringhugeacclaim.

To celebrate the release of'Hurtin' Me', Stefflon took MTVbehind the scenes of its music video for some EXCLUSIVE content.

In the footage, we get a further insight into the fashion, setting and chroreography that make the 'Hurtin' Me' visual so great.

We also get to hear a bit more about the song's inspiration and some context for the video.

In one scene Stefflon explains "I'm basically sad because my man left me." However, she'squick to add that this is for the video and not based on her experience."Not that that happens in real life because no one leaves me. It's all acting baby."

Stefflon actually confirmed on Twitter that the single isn't even about her but that she's the"new girlfriend" in it.

"I wrote that s**t for his [baby mama] to sing"! Amazing.

Stefllon also goes in on working through pain like a pro - her "shoes are too small" but she soldiers on - and making sure that the shots used in the video are her best performances and flatter her. "The angles on my a** is looking good so I'm happy."
