Sherlock And EastEnders Win At TV Choice Awards
Sherlock, EastEnders and Happy Valley have emerged as the three big winners at the TV Choice Awards in London.
The BBC shows mopped up eight of the 18 available awards between them at a ceremony at the London Hilton on posh Park Lane.
Sherlock took best drama and best actor for Benedict Cumberbatch, who was not on hand to accept his gong unfortunately.
Danny Dyer and Lindsey Coulson won best soap actor and actress for their roles in 'Enders, while the show won best soap and an outstanding contribution award.
Happy Valley won best new drama and best actress for Sarah Lancashire.
Of course no TV awards show would be complete without the nation's favourite Geordie duo Ant and Dec - and they won best entertainment show for Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway plus another outstanding contribution award.
Elsewhere the hugely popular Game Of Thrones won Best International Show.
