One person who isn’t exactly thrilled about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s reunion is mum Mandy Teefey, who has reportedly been hospitalised after coming to terms with how serious their relationship is.

According to TMZ, police were called to an L.A hotel to carry out a welfare check on Mandy, who voluntarily agreed to be transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Reports claim that Mandy had been involved in a heated conversation with Selena over the future of Jelena’s romance –and didn’t take too well to hearing that the pairare already in couples therapy.

It’s no secret that Selena’s family are uncertain about Justin’s involvement in Selena’s life, with an unnamed member previously telling the site that the 23-year-old is a “vile” human who will never be accepted back into the fold.

Just to add an extra dash of drama to the mix, Selena and her mum now seem to have unfollowed each other Instagram.

Meanwhile a separate source told People that Mandy’s hospitalisation has nothing to do with Justin: “'It’s been a stressful time for Mandy and she made the decision herself to go to the hospital and make sure everything was okay...This wasn’t just about Justin.”

While Selena’s family aren’t full of praise for Justin, his mum Pattie Mallette has claimed that she and Selena have a “special bond” and is backing her son’s decision to reignite their relationship.
