Anne Hathaway has opened up about working with Bruno Mars saying that he is "lovely".

The Treasure singer plays the role of Roberto in the new movie and has eyes on Hathaway’s character, Jewel.

Despite the smooth-talking bird's crush, she joked that the director, Carlos Saldanha did a good job of teasing that Roberto was singing more for himself than to attract her character.

Talking to our presenter Laura Whitmore, she laughed: “Not that we’re saying that’s what Bruno’s like.”
