Ever since we caught the first clue of a new ‘Big Bad’ in the midseason finale of Pretty Little Liars, we’ve been dying to know more about them.

So thankfully, PLL boss Marlene King has provided a bit of insight into what kind of person they are… And it sounds like they aren’t messing around.

Chatting to HollywoodLife during last week’s New York Comic Con, the show runner revealed some key details about the new villain, and we’re officially scared for our favourite ladies.

Marlene told the site: “The new Big Bad - I wont say if it’s a he or a she. We think it’s a he right now, but you never know.

“But the new Big Bad is more lethal. The new Big Bad isn’t playing a game. The new Big Bad has an agenda and will not stop at anything before that agenda is taken care of.”

Well, that’s pretty terrifying.

As if that wasn’t enough, Marlene’s even got us wondering about our most-loved characters, by adding: “I think everyone’s a threat. Everyone’s a suspect in the show, always.”

The countdown to January is ON.
