There's a secret hidden in the latest Pokémon Go update and you won't believe what it is.

As reported by the Silph Road subreddit (via Eurogamer), the newest update to come to the hit mobile game involves the human characters, and includes a quest system that shines the spotlight on characters like Professor Willow for the very first time.

What does this mean for you? Well, for the first time ever, the human characters will get emotional animations to match those of their Pokémon friends. After fans rummaged around in the update files, they also found clues that these quests will get our humans catching Pokémon, spin Pokéstops, levelling up, walk to clock up mileage to hatch eggs, feed Pokémon in gyms and win gym battles, as well as participating in raids, too.

While we don't know yet what rewards will be coming to these quests, the update's out now on Android and iOS phones, so keep an eye out, Trainer… looks like there's some more cool stuff still to come. Excited? Yeah, us, too!
