You might not like the reports that Perrie Edwards and new boyfriend and all around beautiful human manLuke Pasqualino have broken up, but the reason they apparently did does actually make a fair bit of sense.

With Little Mix super busy gearing up to release shiny new album Glory Days, they are understandably very busy going here, there and everywhere right now, so it isn't all that surprising to see it being reported that the split is all down to Perrie being 'too busy' for a relationship right now.

Sadface.

Fans were alerted that something might be amiss after they unfollowed each other on Instagram and according to new reports, while they'd been seeing each other casually, it apparently wasn't all that serious, meaning it's now just kinda fizzled out.

"In order to commit to someone at this busy time - she'd have to be really into them,' the source tells the Daily Mail. "It's a big commitment to date someone whilst you're constantly on the road - it's hard - and Perrie just wasn't really feeling things with Luke.

"There wasn't that spark between them, so she's told him there won't be any romance between them moving forward.Perrie went on a few dates with Luke over the last few months - it wasn't serious but they were getting to know one another,' they added.

The fact that the girls are pretty much planning to be on tour for the next year apparently aslo had its part to play in her decision.

"Perrie has called it off as she is so busy with Little Mix promo," the source added."She has the single out globally now at No.1 - and the album coming - followed by an international promo tour - then a US tour with Ariana Grande."

Well RIP Lerrie - it was fun while it lasted.
