One Direction have announced that the first single to be taken from their new album FOUR will be titled Steal My Girl.

The lads confirmed that the track will get its first play around the world on September 29, ahead of its official release in the UK on October 12.

[related]Steal My Girl has been written by band members Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne as well as Ed Drewett, Wayne Hector, Julian Bunetta and John Ryan - the same team behind their smash hit single, Best Song Ever.

When purchasing the track, UK fans will also be treated to a special remix of the song from Liam.

Steal My Girl is now available to pre-order, with FOUR due for release on November 17.

The LP has already reached No.1 on iTunes stores in 67 countries on pre-orders alone, with teaser tune Fireproof breaking the free download record with with 1,089,278 copies in just 24 hours.
