Liam Payne has proved that just because someone's a mega star, doesn't mean creepy little dolls don't scare them.

The One Direction hottie took to Twitter in the early hours of this morning, as he revealed he'd decided to pass some time by watching new scary movie 'Annabelle', which stars a super scary doll.

"Annabelle is a very scary film," he tweeted. "How do I take my mind off this dam weird doll lol."

However his fans took this as a perfect opportunity to scare him some more, as they joined in the fun of his admission.

"People keep sending me Annabelle pictures your all mean aha," he continued. "Now everyone keeps sending me pics of this doll."

Liam continued to entertain his fans on Instagram as he discovered a pretty fly photoshop app, which magically transformed him into a gangster, a pimp and even 90's rapper.

Though it all ended sickly sweet, as he warmed (and broke) thousands of girls hearts with one final tweet of the night.

"That moment when your about to fall asleep and your girlfriend texts you and everything changes :)"
