It's hard to believe that it's over three years since Nicki Minaj released her last album. In that time she's barely left the charts thanks to epic features on hits by the likes of Ariana Grande, Yo Gotti and Katy Perry ('Side to Side', 'Rake It Up', 'Swish Swish').

This month she returned with two new singles and now 'Chun-Li' has just become her 16th Top 10 hit in the US.

IT'S OFFICIAL. THE QUEEN OF RAP IS REALLY BACK AND SHE IS NOT MESSING AROUND THIS ERA.

Nicki released 'Barbie Tingz' and 'Chun-Li' on April 12th and both have already become big hits. Not only did they enter the UK Top 40 on Friday but 'Barbie Tingz' has now climbed to Number 25 on the Hot 100 and 'Chun-Li' has risen up to Number 10.

In doing so, 'Chun-Li' now joins the likes of 'Anaconda' and 'Super Bass' as one of Nicki's many US Top 10s.

Both 'Barbie Tingz' and 'Chun-Li' received immediate critical acclaim. The cuts see Nicki have fun while also flexing her unmatched skill. Their refined production and witty bars hark back to the likes of 'Itty Bitty Piggy' and Nicki's 'Boss A** B****' remix.

To make things even more exciting, Nicki will star on SNL next month for her first live performance of 2018.To top it all off Nicki is debuting a song on the show. The living legend tweeted "I’ll perform a song you never heard b4. My fave on the album."

She then added: "plus my second song. You can prob guess what that’s gonna be." Amazing.

Considering how big a hit 'Chun-Li' already is, we reckon that she will be performing it.
