Multi-platinum recording artist Nick Jonas has just announced that he will hit the streets of New York City in a special performance, presented by Pepsi, at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.

He will perform his hit single 'Bacon' from his latest record Last Year Was Complicated, joined by the featured artist on the track Ty Dolla $ign.

This will be Nick's debut VMA performance as a solo artist. How exciting is THAT?!

In keeping with the spirit of this year's show, celebrating the creative expression of artists, Jonas made his announcement with a video that was custom-created by Brooklyn-based motion graphics artist, Zolloc.

He will be joining previously announced performer, Britney Spears at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden on Sunday 28th August.
