Teen Mom UK’s Megan Salmon-Ferrari Reveals The Hardest Part Of Being A Mum As She Explains She Has ‘No Regrets’ – EXCLUSIVE
We've watched Megan Salmon-Ferrari do an incredible job of raising her and Dylan Siggers’ two adorable children – son Mckenzie and daughter Dulcie-Mae – on the past two series of Teen Mom UK.
And despite the tough times that have come with her journey through parenthood, the lovely mum has explained that she has "no regrets" and that it was "the right time"for her to have children.
Aww!
WATCH MEGAN TALK ABOUT BEING A MUM IN THIS EXCLUSIVE VIDEO:
Speaking exclusively to MTV ahead of the brand new series (starting Weds 14th March at 8pm on MTV), Megan explained: “I don’t have any regrets (about being a teen mum) and no, I don’t wish that I would’ve waited until I was older.
“I think it was the right time for me to have kids, and yeah, don’t regret it.”
Touching on the realities of being a mum, Megan opened up about what’s been the hardest part for her: “The hardest part of being a teen mum is probably the lack of sleep and trying to deal with the kids. It’s alright now Dulcie’s sleeping through more, but when she was younger, it was definitely hard – so probably the sleep side.”
There are, of course, high points too, with the mum-of-two explaining: “A highlight of being a teen mum is probably people being more nicer to me in public than I thought they would.
“If people see you in the street and stuff, they come up to me and speak about the kids, whereas I thought a lot of people would be more like, giving me dirty looks and saying sly comments and stuff (sic).”
Yay! We’re glad to hear it, Megan.
There was also the happy moment when Megan realised her life was about to be very different, with the mum saying: “I think the moment when I realized my life changed forever was when I had Mckenzie, because then, like, he’s actually there whereas before he was inside my belly and it’s just weird, but then he was there so then my life definitely changed.”
Here's hoping series three brings more exciting moments for this lovely mum.
