Coronation Street spoilers, Chesney Stabbed: Monday 3 – Friday 7 July
Coming up in Coronation Street, things look bleak for Chesney Brown after he gets caught up in a bloody fight.
Rich on the rampage
Dodgy Rich is still pestering Robert Preston to launder money from the sale of drugs through the Bistro, which is at least two kinds of illegal. Robert is not keen, weirdly, and a wired Rich smashes a bottle to threaten his old pal.
Chesney fights for his life
Poor Ches has nothing to do with any of it but is caught in the wrong place at the wrong time and receives a vicious slashing. He’s rushed off to hospital with Sinead Tinker at his side. But will blood spilled in the Bistro put Robert off dirty dealing? We won’t hold our breath.
Eva plots revenge
Woman scorned, Eva Price, knows exactly where she’s going to hurt Aidan Connor: in his wallet. Her half-sister, Leanne Battersby, is in on the vengeance plot too, and with Maria Connor deciding to come clean to Eva, maybe the three could join forces, like some kind of Corrie coven.
Paranoia the destroyer
Eileen Grimshaw is devastated when she finds love letters Pat Phelan sent to his ex-lover, Nicola Rubenstein’s mum (suspected). She then makes matters even worse between father and daughter, concluding with Nicola saying she’ll inform the police if she hears from either of them again. Ooopsy.
More woes for Bethany
Poor Bethany Platt discovers that there’s apparently not enough evidence against evil Nathan Curtis for a prosecution, and blames herself for being naïve. Just so we’re clear on this: she is absolutely not at fault.
We’re just going to have to accept that this vomit-making affair is happening
Seriously, what is the appeal of Kevin Webster? To us, he comes across as an oily tramp but to the women of Weatherfield he’s like some kind of sexy catnip. And Erica Holroyd is a-sniffing.
Todd takes on Summer
Her case, that is. He and Billy Mayhew attend her dad's funeral inspite of Geraldine's horrific homophobia, and that takes real guts.
Gina is making a monkey out of Sally
Across the cobbles, Sally Webster is sad when Gina Seddon buys a plate. For realsies.
