A worldwide poll of over 50,000 movie fans by Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch was voted hottest male, followed by Avengers star Tom Hiddleston in second place and Emma Watson was picked as the sexiest female movie star, with Scarlett Johansson coming second and Jennifer Lawrence taking third place.
The list also reflects the current popularity of superhero movies, with six of the top ten men and five of the top ten women having appeared in comic-book movies.
