Aaron Chalmers has hit out at Lewis Bloor, branding Marnie Simpson's cheating ex "a sponger" who wouldn't even last "thirty seconds" if the pair squared up against each other in a fight.

In an interview about his MMA debut with Star, Aaron picked out the one celeb he'd like to get in the ring with and there are literally nosurprises for who came out top on the list.

"It has to be Lewis Bloor doesn't it?," he replied. "Although I wouldn't really count him as a celebrity. He's just a sponger. I don't think he would even last 30 seconds. He sent me loads of tweets while I was on a flight to Australia, but by the time I got off the plan he'd deleted them all.

As for how things are with Marnie Simpson, Aaron joked they could be headed down the aisle any day now:"I think we'll get married [laughs]. I'm joking. But we are getting on the best we ever have. I'm glad I got my best friend back.I would never say never. I like it the way it is now and that we're getting on so well.

When asked about Marnie's comment that she enjoys soaking up the "attention" fromhim, he replied: "That's always been me and Marnie. When I was speaking to her last week she was saying different so who knows?"

"I love her as a person, but I'm not in love with her," he added.
