It’s official: the host for this year’s annual MTV Movie And TV Awards will be none other than Adam Devine - AKA Bumper from PitchPerfect!

This year's ceremony marks the first time there'll be awards for your fave TV shows too. With Adam Devine having just co-starred with Zac Efron in recent comedy Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates, and starring in hit sitcom Workaholics, there's no one better qualified to hand out theGolden Popcornthis year.

What's more, Devine won the coveted BEST KISS award at lastyear's MTV Movie Awards, nabbingthe prize with on-screen Pitch Perfect beau Rebel Wilsonand then recreating their award-winning smooch on stage.

The show will take place on 7th May 2017 from La La Land itself, with the party going down atLos Angeles's Shrine Auditorium. And of course you can expect enough craziness, banter and goss to fill all your fandom needs whenthe biggest and most fun awards show evshits in just four weeks' time.

This year the coolest awards show in the calendar will honour TV and streaming as well as film– so you can thank your fave stars for your Netflix binge sessions too!
