MTV Africa Music Awards Nominations Announced
Wyclef Jean will host…
The nominations for the MTV Africa Music Awards with Zain (MAMAs) have been announced for 2009.
The ceremony takes place on October 10 in Nairobi, Kenya and will be broadcast around the world.
Presenting the show- and performing on the night- will be former Fugees man Wyclef Jean.
Nigerian superstar 2Face has the most amount of nominations closely followed by South Africa’s HHP and Kenya’s Nameless.
Kanye West, Jay-Z, Green Day and Coldplay are also up for awards on the night.
Performing for the crowd in Kenya are Lira, M.I., Samini and Wahu.
