Marshmello and Anne-Marie are no strangers to making bangers. Marshmello dominated the charts in 2017 with huge collaborations with Selena Gomez and Khalid and Anne-Marie has three Platinum singles to her name ('Alarm', 'Ciao Adios', 'Rockabye').

Now the hit DJ and the rising superstar are joiningforces and releasing a new single called 'Friends' this Friday.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL. A MARSHMELLO STARRING ANNE-MARIE MEGA BOP IS INCOMING THIS WEEK!

The two artists took to Twitter yesterday to share a teaser image for the single, its name and release date. Marshmellotweeted: "#FRIENDS. Friday @AnneMarieIAm" andAnne-Marie wrote the exact same thing but tagged Marshmello in her post instead.

So it looks like we will have to wait until Friday to find out more but something tells us that it will be massive.

Marshmelloand Anne-Marie both have a way with making brilliant music and we imagine thatthe two of them together will be unstoppable. Seriously, just the thought of hearing Anne-Marie's voice over Marshmello' production is making us super excited.

Whether or not the collaboration will feature on Marshmello and Anne-Marie's albums is yet to be seen.

Although hopefully, it will give us a bit of an insight into the music that both artists have been creating.

We can't wait to hear 'FRIENDS' when it's out this Friday.

Until then we'll be playing 'Wolves' and 'Then' on repeat.
