Marnie Simpson and Lewis Bloor’s whirlwind Celebrity Big Brother romance is continuing to blossom like a fresh bunch of roses, with the couple heading out on their first proper date and Marnie sharing a review of Lewis’ bedroom skills.

Now, our Geordie Shore beauty has revealed that she’s taken another step in the pair’s romance - Meeting the former TOWIE star’s family.

Updating fans on how their romance is progressing, Marnie wrote in her Star magazine column: “Things with Lewis have been amazing. I met his family at the weekend! I was nervous, but they felt they already knew me because they’d watched me on TV.

“As for people saying we’re a showmance, that’s ridiculous. Since we came out, we’ve kept everything private.

“I’m not putting any pressure on us - I’ve made that mistake before. We’re really happy and I feel safe and confident. I’ve never met anyone like Lewis before.”

Marnie also told the magazine that she can see her and Lewis being together ‘for a long time’, though she added: “I feel just as strongly as when I was in the house, but we’ll have to wait and see. It’s going to be a bit of a struggle because we lead such separate lives.”

Asked how he compares to other guys she’s dated, Marns admitted: “He really looks after me. If it weren’t for Lewis, I would’ve died of starvation because he cooked me three meals a day, every day. He was so caring and loving and I’ve never had anyone like that.”
