Marnie Simpson got everyonea little bit excited when she flaunted some seriousbling on what appeared to be her wedding fingerearlier this week.

Had Aaron Chalmers popped the question?! Would there be a 'Geordie Shore' wedding?! We had SO MANY questions.

The 24-year-old posted the snap on her Instagram,sending her 2 million followers into a bit of a frenzy.Cue some major questions about a possible secret engagement:"ENGAGEMENT RING?!","How come she has a ring on her wedding finger?" and "OMG look she got a ring! Imagine if her and Aaron get married…” were some of her fan's questions.

What a few of those fans failed to notice was one teenytiny detail…

"It's on my RIGHT hand. use your brain. Please. It's taken in a mirror so it's therefore the opposite way around" she fumed on Twitter, which cleared up the wedding rumours pretty quickly.

Oh Marn, you can't blame us for hoping -we sawthe pair getting close again lately whilst filming the new series of 'Geordie Shore' this summer.

She revealed: "Things haven't been too awkward between Aaron and me - we've been getting on well. We want to have fun and see what happens. The last thing either of us want is drama and to spoil things for everyone else."

Ok, maybe we'll just sidestep this whole thingand carry on with life as normal then...
