Mariah Carey caused a stir at the BET Honors awards in Washington DC on Saturday night with a dress that took cleavage-revealing to new levels.

The 43-year-old star channelled Jessica Rabbit as she crammed into a slinky black, floor-length gown which showed off almost exactly half of her hefty chest.

And she wasn't playing it safe either, climbing on top of a grand piano and writhing around mid-performance - risking the mother of all wardrobe malfunctions.

But her luck (and boob tape) held as she completed her turn without her puppies making a break for freedom.
