Manic Street Preachers ‘Gutted’ To Cancel V Festival Chelmsford Gig
Manic Street Preachers were forced to cancel their performance at V Festival in Chelmsford last night, after their plane was unable fly.
The band took to Twitter to share the news, saying they were ‘gutted’ to not be playing after a nightmare day of travelling.
“After 18hrs of travelling+waiting we arrive in birmingham hotel-worst travel day in 22yrs of the band-deepest apologies we tried everything”

MSP were set to play the MTV stage before headliners Elbow.
You can still catch the band at the Staffordshire site at V Festival tonight, where we’re sure they’ll more than make up for the unfortunate situation.
