Mabel has been crowned the winner of MTV Brand New For 2018 after two weeks of nail-biting voting on Instagramwith10656 votes!

The ‘Finders Keepers’ up-and-comer fought off close competition valiantly from her nearest rival, friend, and ‘Fine Line’ collaborator Not3s, who placed second with8529 votes.

On winning this year’s competition, the singer said:

"I can’t believe that I’m MTV’s Brand New for 2018. Big love to MTV for even giving me this opportunity and to all the fans for voting. I’m so, so, so happy. This is my first ever award and I won’t let you down. 2018’s gonna be an amazing year."

Mabel now joins the hallowed Brand New Hall of Fame of previous winners which includes Anne-Marie, Krept & Konan, The Vamps, AJ Tracey, Justin Bieber and more.
