While One Direction have been busy hogging up the UK radio waves to chat about their new single ‘Drag Me Down’, Liam Payne has also been spilling the goss on Louis Tomlinson’s impending fatherhood.

That’s right, the former Daddy Direction(his crown has been well and truly stolen now, hasn’t it?) has been chatting about Louis and Briana Jungwirth’s baby news – and has revealed that they’re very excited about it.

Talking to Magic FM’s Jo Parkerson, Liam explained that while he was ‘a bit shocked’ at first, everything is ‘all good’ now.

He told the station: “Well, I was quite, I was obviously a bit shocked, but he's taken super well to it. And he's excited; he’s very excited about what's going on with him at the moment.

“And sometimes stuff happens like that… And not [as though] it’s a small deal… You know, he’s taking it very seriously. It’s all good."

Liam even admitted that having a ‘little 1D-er’ around soon is ‘quite a crazy thought’.

Clearly in a generous mood, the star also gave a little insight to Briana, Louis’ soon-to-be baby mama, saying: “she’s a lovely girl”.
