Well that was just a little bit amazing, wasn’t it?

Last night Little Mix premiered their brand spanking new track ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ during the X Factor Results show (see ya, Freddy) and it was everything we could have hoped for and more.

The dis track, widely speculated to be about Zayn Malik following his split from Perrie Edwards in 2015, turned out to be the super sassy and inspiring anthem we’d all been hoping for.

A particular highlight was the sheer joy on Perrie’s face as she sung the already infamous line ‘Hope she ain't fakin’ it like I did, babe.’

We bet that felt good.

And it would seem that SOTME is set to be yet another smash for the band, with the track shooting straight to number on the iTunes UK chart following the performance.

Boss Simon Cowell was of course full of praise for the girls, taking to Twitter to congratulate them.

Sorry Si, but we disagree. That was THE best X Factor performance of all time.
