Life is Strange: Before the Storm's bonus episode, Farewell, is out on March 6, 2018.

Farewell - which sees the return of Max Caulfield, the lead character of the original Life is Strange game - will only be available to players with the digital Deluxe Edition, or anyone who picks up one of the two boxed special editions that go on sale on the same day: the Limited Edition, and the Vinyl Edition.

The Limited Edition (£35) will include all episodes of Before the Storm including Farewell, as well as an art book, and a CD of the soundtrack. The Vinyl Edition (£60) includes all that, as well as the Outfit Pack, Mixtape mode, and the soundtrack on vinyl.

“As Chloe and Rachel’s family life continues to crumble, their friendship blossoms and the two girls discuss running away together,” states the game description. “But before they can go, Chloe gets involved with an errand for Frank Bowers which puts her in a dangerous situation and exposes an uglier side to Arcadia Bay…”

As a prequel to the massively successful Life is Strange game, Before the Storm - which is developed by Deck Nine - offers us a little background on the original game’s most mysterious characters, as well as letting us explore new places in Arcadia Bay.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A sequel, developed by Dontnod, the studio that made the original game, is also underway.
