As far as shock celeb confessions go, admitting to wearing your other half’s socks isn’t all that earth shattering - but it’s what Liam Payne said after that’s had us majorlylol’ing.

The One Direction singer was on Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 Breakfast Show on Friday when he admitted that he once accidentally put on Cheryl’s socks. He then went on to suggest that he might try out wearing his girlfriend’s underwear, too.

“I’m lazy, I should know better after all these years, I just pile all the socks in the drawer, all the boxers. Luckily I didn’t end up with any thongs, that would have been embarrassing,” he said of the sock drama.

He then added: “I might have tried it out, could’ve been a bit airy, a bit free!”

And now we die.

Liam also confessed that actually he does regularly wear’s Cheryl’s clothes. Although from the sounds of it he’s not experimenting with her red carpet dresses, more just borrowing her hoodies occasionally.

“Honestly these days because of the way clothes are, a lot of stuff is baggy so I get a lot of her clothes in my wardrobe and if I’m feeling it that day I’ll whack it on,” he said.

The clothes swapping works both ways though, as Cheryl often helps herself from items in Liam’s wardrobe:“Honestly, it’s so bad if I’m wearing something and she goes, ‘oh I like that’, I know I’m never seeing it again,” revealed the dad of one.
