Stars Pay Tribute After Lauren Bacall's Death
Actors, filmmakers and celebs have been paying tribute to iconic actress Lauren Bacall following news of her death.
The 89-year-old movie legend - famous for her husky voice and her assertive screen persona - suffered a stroke at her home in New York and died yesterday morning.

The Bogart estate broke the news on Twitter, writing: "With deep sorrow, yet with great gratitude for her amazing life, we confirm the passing of Lauren Bacall."
Her movies included To Have And Have Not, The Big Sleep, How to Marry a Millionaire and Key Largo.
And she famously wed co-star Humphrey Bogart - who appeared alongside her in several of her most-famous films.

Director Edgar Wright quoted Bacall's most-famous line as he paid tribute on Twitter.
He wrote: "'You know how to whistle don't you Steve? You just put your lips together and blow' … RIP the legendary Lauren Bacall."
And Kris Jenner wrote: "'Imagination is the highest kite one can fly.' Another legend lost today. Rest in Peace Lauren Bacall."

While Fifty Shades Of Grey author EL James chose the same quote as Wright: "'You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together and blow.' RIP Lauren Bacall."
And actor John Cusack re-tweeted the news from another source, commenting simply: "RIP star struck."
