Lady Gaga's Taking A Break From Music For A Bit
Mondays are never exceptionally fun but Lady Gaga has made this Monday especially tough!
The 'Perfect Illusion' star held a press conference for her upcoming Netflix documentary over the weekend andrevealed she is planning to take a 'rest' from music when she finishes up the'Joanne World Tour'in December.
It's been a crazy 12 months for the singer, who hasreleased her fourth album, performed the Super Bowl halftime show, filmed a movie, started a world tour and made a documentary, so we don't blame her for just wanting some time out.
Speaking to reporters at the premiere of'Gaga: Five Foot Two', she said she's going to take a break to "slow down for a moment for some healing."
The news might shock some fans after the singer told Entertainment Weekly just two weeks ago that she had started working on a new album already, although maybe this means she'll drop new songs promo-free à la Drake or like she did with her one-off single 'The Cure' earlier this year.
It's hard to tell right now but it's clear that Gaga has a plan, as she also said "It doesn't mean I don't have some things up my sleeve." What does it all mean?!
Lady Gaga's documentary will premiere on Netflix on September 22, while she brings the'Joanne World Tour'to the UK in early October for five shows.
Let's hope the break doesn't last too long...
