Taron Egerton is one of Hollywood's hottest stars - and so when we were given the chance to speak to him about the movie that's about to send him stratospheric, Kingsman: The Secret Service, we couldn't help but quiz him on some longstanding rumours.

Namely, his participation in the new X-Men movie, Apocalypse. Rumours have suggested that he was in the running to play a young Cyclops in the movie, but in our interview to promote his ace new spy thriller/action/comedy, he put the rumours to bed.

We're as sad as he is forlon, although on the plus side, he's up for playing Spider-Man...
