Ke$ha Changes Her Name And Twitter Handle
Ke$ha has changed her name and Twitter handle following her recent stint in rehab.
[related]After an extended absence from the social networking site while she sought treatment for eating disorder atChicago's Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Centre, the Timber singer returned to Twitter this morning thanking fans for their support.
And it was clear that she was in a more positive state of mind as she changed her Twitter handle from "@Ke$haSuxx" to "KeshaRose".
A rep confirmed to E! Newsthat she has also changed the spelling of her name from "Ke$ha" to "Kesha".
According to reports, Kesha first began using the dollar sign in her name after recording session vocals on Flo Rida track Right Round. While the song was hugely successful, the singer apparently did not benefit financially from the record's success.
As well as using her first tweets to express messages of positivity, earlier today Kesha posted a picture of herself bare-legged in the sand at night wearing a sweater that read: "I'm A Survivor".
"Had to go play in the sand," she captioned the pic.
