Katy Perry Brings Roar's UK Release Date Forward
The new single will now be available to purchase this weekend…
Katy Perry has revealed plans to bring forward the UK release date of her new single Roar.
The single was originally slated for release on September 8, despite already being available in most other countries.
Perry tweeted a few hours ago: "ATTN UK! I'm letting #ROAR out a week early. Go here to pre-order now, & you get the song THIS SUNDAY, September 1!"

The 28-year-old will now drop the single on September 1.
Roar is the singer's most successful single yet in terms of first week sales, scoring a whopping 557,000 downloads in the US alone.
Katy has previously told On Air With Ryan Seacrest that Roar is “a song about speaking up for yourself."
