After the announcement that Justin Bieber will be performing at tonight's EMA, our imaginations have gone into overdrive thinking up how he could possibly top his MTV Video Music Awards performance.

Upon being interviewed on the red carpet Bieber has teased us in saying that tonight's performance will be a "step up" from his super emotional come-back performance at the VMA, and we CANNOT WAIT!

The 21-year-old also revealed that he popped his eardrum whilst wake boarding. We hope this won't affect his performance too much and that he gets well soon! At least now the screams of his devoted fans will be slightly less loud…

The singer-songwriter also revealed that he has "some surprises" up his sleeve for tonight's performance... SO EXCITING!
