Justin Bieberhas reportedly been arrested and charged with driving under the influence and drag racing.

The 19-year old was pulled over at 4am while behind the wheel of a rented Lamborghini on Thursday morning (January 23) in Miami.

Miami Beach police spokesman Sgt Bobby Hernandez has since stated: "He showed symptoms of someone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

"He was pulled over and failed a field sobriety test. He was then taken to the police station to be offered a breathalyzer."

According to TMZ, Bieber was arrested after leaving a local club and that the person he was allegedly drag racing with was also arrested.

After a skiing vacation with friends in Colorado, Bieber was photographed earlier this week visiting a strip club in the Miami area and skating at Lil Wayne's private skate park on Thursday.

The Opa-Locka Police Department is reportedly investigating claims that Bieber received an unauthorised police escort after he landed his plane at the Opa-Locka Executive Airport earlier this week.
