Jarrod Alonge Goes Rock Parody Crazy, Beats A Horse
Not really – no animals were injured in the making of the (kinda) new album from YouTuber/musician/comedian Jarrod Alonge, who is releasing the extended version of his rock parodies record, 'Beating A Dead Horse'.
The album featured superb spoofs of all your favourite pop punk and metalcore artistes (Vermicide Violence, for example, sounds nothing like the band Suicide Silence. Not at all. Not even one bit.) and included guest spots from members of Set It Off, For Today and some of Jarrod's YouTube pals. The new version is titled *drum roll please*...
'Beating A Dead Horse: Deluxe Ultra-Limited Exclusive Undead Edition.'
Yes, really. That Jarrod, he's a funny one.
The new-and-improved record features more cameo appearances from 'actual' pop punk band members and includes parodies of the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Attila and The Story So Far. There are also some new tracks from his 'band', Sunrise Skater Kids – the most pop punk of all the pop punks.
You can check out the trailer for the record below – it drops on 4th December. If you are not familiar with Jarrod's fine work, follow his channel for parodies and some of the cringiest interviews with band members you'll ever witness.
