Geordie Shore babe Holly Hagan has been happy with her bae, Jacob Blyth, for almost two years now.

But the reality hun's past relationships haven't always gone as smoothly, and she recently revealed how a particularly tough past relationship helped her get to where she is today.

Speaking to OK! Online, she said: "That relationship that I was in for three years, that was horrific… it taught me so much."

She added: "I couldn’t be the person I am now without going through all that.Now in this relationship, I respect myselfand knew what I was going to stand for, and what I wasn’t going to put up with. Now, we don’t have any issues with trust or anything. We’re just happy."

Holly credits the fact that Jacob is so laid back about her career and past for the success of their relationship.

"Obviously doing the things I do on TV, just being a typical Geordie Shore girl… you’ve got to handle it. You just have to be a laid back person, and it works really well because I have the shortest fuse," she said.

Holly says that her past boyfriends weren't accepting of her past, but going into this relationship she made it clear that she isn't sorry for anything she's done, and it doesn't define her.

The lass now hopes for wedding bells in her future with Jacob, revealing: "I’ve sent him the ring I want and everything. He’s fully aware."

This comes after Holly recently dished on her pregnancy plans too. revealing that she hopes to have a baby at the same time as her Geordie Shore co-stars.
