Marvel Studios has teased fans with another trailer for its eagerly awaited Guardians Of The Galaxy.

Although it only clocks in at half-a-minute in length, the latest promo for the superhero ensemble movie manages to fit in acting legendGlenn Close- as well as the movie's heroes.

Chris Pratt - who plays "Star Lord" in the film - narrates the trailer and introduces his team: Zoe Saldana's green-skinned warrior Gamora, Dave Bautista's knife-wielding "maniac" Drax and CGI characters Rocket Raccoon and Groot.

The latter two are voiced by Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel respectively.

Close's character tells Star Lord: "The fate of 12 billion people rests in your hands."

To which he responds: "Wait a minute... are you being serious?"

Although the trailer gives the release date as 1 August - UK fans will get to turn the tables on their US counterparts and see the film on 31 July.
