The 2019 GRAMMYs are definitely going down as a night to remember in music history.
From BTS presenting to Donald Glover’s hugely successful ‘This is America’, to an epic performance from Miley Cyrus and Shawn Mendes… it proved to be a night that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

Cardi B won Best Rap Album
Up against Mac Miller’s ‘Swimming’, Travis Scott’s’ ‘Astroworld’, Pusha T’s ‘Daytona’ and Nipsey Hussle’s ‘Victoria Lap’, Cardi B’s ‘Invasion of Privacy’ took home the GRAMMY for 'Best Rap Album', making her the first solo female artist to ever win in the category. BTS rocked up to present
Setting foot on the GRAMMY stage for the first time, the K-pop stars presented the award for 'Best R&B Album', and had been nominated for ‘Best Recording Package’. Lead member RM (Kim Nam-joon) lead with a heartfelt speech to his fans: “Growing up in South Korea we always dreamed about standing on the GRAMMY Stage, thank you to all our fans for making this dream come true, and we’ll be back."
H.E.R won 2 GRAMMYs and her acceptance speech was hilarious
H.E.R won the award for ‘Best R&B Album’ and opened explaining that it was not even an album… it was, in fact, an EP. She then went on to invite her team up on stage and make a tear-jerking acceptance speech. She also won the award for ‘Best R&B Performance’ for her and Daniel Caesars’ ‘Best Part’ performance, and of course, graced us with an epic show of her with some serious guitar shredding on her song ‘Hard Place’.
Dua Lipa won 2 GRAMMYs and we’re crying at her reactions
Picking up the award for ‘Best New Artist’ AND ‘Best Dance Recording’, Dua Lipa had a magical night featuring an insane performance alongside St. Vincent for a mashup of ‘Masseduction’ and ‘One Kiss’. Dua now sits with Adele and Amy Winehouse as the only English female artists to win 2 GRAMMYs in one night. Legends only.
Ariana won her first GRAMMY and she celebrated from home
Staying home for this year's awards, Grande finally received her first well deserved GRAMMY for her album ‘sweetener’. After six nominations, this is a huge win for the pop superstar and we’re OBSESSED with how she celebrated from home. Note the light shade at the GRAMMYs over that whole performance drama.
Kacey Musgraves killed it with 4 GRAMMYs
Kacey Musgraves won four GRAMMYs on the big night including ‘Album Of The Year’ for her album ‘Golden Hour’, she was up against Post Malone, Drake, H.E.R., Cardi B and more. She also took home ‘Best Country Song’ and ‘Best Country Album’, as well as ‘Best Country Solo Performance’. She won the GRAMMY in every category she was nominated for… if you’re not listening, you should be.
Childish Gambino won 3 of the Biggest Awards of the night
Winning a huge 3 out of 5 nominated categories, Childish Gambino’s social and political track ‘This is America’ scooped him up big wins last night in the categories ‘Song of the Year’, ‘Record of the Year’, and ‘Best Rap/Sung Performance’.
THOSE Epic Performances
The GRAMMYs 2019 served us an iconic number of performances. Alicia Keys played a whole two pianos at once, Shawn Mendes and Miley Cyrus teamed up for an epic performance of ‘In My Blood’, Lady Gaga hit us with a powerful performance of A Star Is Born’s ‘Shallow’, Janelle Monae blew us away with her hit ‘Make Me Feel’, plus there was an insane team up of Kacey Musgraves, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Maren Morris, Little Big Town & Dolly Parton, who gave A* renditions of "Here You Come Again" / "Jolene" / "After the Gold Rush" / "Red Shoes" / "9 to 5". Yeah. It was a pretty epic night, and that’s not even half of it.
