But fast-forward to 2016 and it seems that in hindsight,Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson wishes Ricky Rayment had neverliked it and put a ring on it in the first place...

In an exclusive interview with MTV, the 24-year-old lass admitted that getting engaged to the ex-TOWIE star was the 'biggest mistake' of her life.

She revealed: "Last series in Greece I got engaged and it just all went downhill.

"I would go as far as saying it's probably the biggest mistake I've ever made in my life, only because he's full of sh*t and he's just done it for one reason only and that was to get us off Geordie Shore."

Meow! The Newcastle worldie added that she's totally OVAH Ricky and might even replace her 'R' tattoo with co-star/necking on buddie Aaron Chalmers' name instead.

She told us: "I'm totally over Ricky, there's nothing (feelings) there anymore. I still have my really ugly tattoo, that definitely has to go. I think I might have to replace it with Aaron's name."

Speaking aboutRicky replacing his Marnie tattoo with Gigi Hadid's face, Marnie said she was surprised he didn't get it covered upsooner.

She explained: "I'm surprised he didn't get his tattoo removed earlier than he did. He's picked a good looking girl to get it covered over with… I mean it's Gigi (Hadid) and she is unreal!"

Following their break-up,Ricky has been grafting Ex On The Beach babe Nancy-May Turner - but Marnie told us she wasn't fussed about him moving on with another MTV bird.

She revealed: "I've been looking at him and I don't feel anything angry about the Ricky and the Nancy-May thing.

"To be honest I just feel a little bit embarrassed for him because I feel like it didn't work out with me so he's went after another girl (sic).

"I feel embarrassed for him more than anything because he's doing the same thing he did with me, buying her flowers, getting papped with her in DSTRKT, it's just all too familiar and I feel really embarrassed for him."

Eeeek... Can't see these two appearing on Ex On The Beach together then!
