The star of Frozen has been backpedalling furiously after seemingly revealing that a sequel is happening.

The stage and screen star, who voiced Elsa in the mega-hit animation, had told The Telegraph that a follow-up movie is "in the works".

But she seemed less sure when speaking on the subject on Today, saying: "You know, I have no idea.

"I just assumed that because it's so successful that's what they're up to!"

Whether the 43-year-old actress and singer has been spoken to by Disney execs since the original story broke, we have no way of knowing.
