With Frozen quickly becoming the highest-grossing animated movie of all time since it was released last year, it would have been surprising if Disney wasn't planning a sequel.

But it's still exciting to hear Idina Menzel - the voice of Elsa - apparently confirming that a follow-up film is in the pipeline.

Speaking to The Telegraph, she was asked if the corporation is working on a stage show and second movie, and replied: "They're all in the works, ha ha!"

Asked whether she was signedup, she elaborated: "Ah, yeah sure. Not the stage show - I don't know what will happen with that - but the movie hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride".

Disney was earlier this year insisting that a sequel had not been discussed, with a stage show looking likely to come first.

Frozen took £800m in global box office receipts, making it the fifth biggest-earning movie of all time.
