In news that is sure to disappoint his fans, Frank Ocean has revealed he won't be releasing any new material until the summer of 2014.

According to Gigwise, Ocean made the comment on his personal Tumblr account when he was asked by a fan when he would be debuting new music.

The Pyramids singer simply replied: "When summer comes round again."

Frank released his Grammy Award-winning debut studio album Channel Orange over a year ago and has been busy working on a follow-up LP.

Back in February of this year, the R&B star admitted on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show that he was already several songs into his new album.

Ocean said at the time: "I'm like 10,11 songs into this next thing. It's another cohesive thing bordering on a concept album again."
