Is This Fantastic Four Interview Racist, Sexist Or Just Stupid?

Cringe incoming!

Think things couldn’t get more awkward than THAT Cara Delivingne interview which did the rounds last week?

Then get ready to cover your eyes: there’s even more cringe incoming.

The 'Fantastic Four 'cast just had to sit through an absolute trainwreck with two US radio interviewers to promote the movie, which comes out this week.

Watch the video below, which was originally taken down but has since resurfaced, and decide for yourself whether it’s a) racist? b) sexist? or c) just plain old stupid?

In it, the interviewers continuously probe Michael B Jordan and Kate Mara on how Sue Storm (Invisible Woman) and Johnny Storm (Human Torch) could POSSIBLY be siblings (“But you’re white and you’re black!” ) …despite Mara LITERALLY answering the question five seconds into the interview with the reply, "Sue Storm was adopted, was that the question?"

They go on to reprimand Mara for her now having a pixie cut, “You’re way, way hot! Why did you cut your hair?” to which she graciously answers, “I cut my hair for a movie… I’m an actress”.

Then, the whole interview is cut short when the interviewer goes on to grossly talk about Mara’s feet, telling her he’s a “toe guy”.

Basically THIS is what you see when you look up the Wikipedia entry for MEGA-CRINGE-PLEASE-LET-A-BLACK-HOLE-OPEN-UP-AND-DEVOUR-THIS- FROM-TIME-AND-SPACE.

Through the whole thing Miles Teller, who plays Reed Richards in the film, stays quiet. We don’t blame him.

When you’re done, cleanse the cringe with MTV’s interview the cast in which we discuss The Thing’s private parts ;)!
