It takes a very confident personality to "borrow" Rihanna's style and attempt to carry it off, but that's just what Peter Griffin from Family Guy has done.

The cartoon buffoon is seen wearing the "naked" sparkly gown that sparked controversy when RiRi wore it to the CFDA Fashion Awards earlier this week.

And it swiftly got the official seal of approval as Rihanna herself re-Tweeted it writing: "He gets it!"

She then made it her own profile picture on the social networking site.

Rihanna was named Fashion Icon of the Year at the prestigious gong show on Monday.
