Ex On The Beach star Harriette Harper is being treated in hospital after experiencing complications following the birth of her son that have left her “close to death” on several occasions.

The reality personality welcomed a baby boy into the world little over a week ago and revealed that thetwenty-hour labour resulted in her undergoing a c-section thatcould have resulted in her contracting an infection.

Harriette revealed that she is back in hospital and shared some terrifying details about her current condition: “Back in hospital with an infection. Told the chances are I picked it up on the operating table while having my section.

“Beyond disgusted by how I’ve been treated and my aftercare. Feel like I’m in a living nightmare I can’t wake up from.” In a second post, she continued: “Told twice in one week you have come close to death is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to try to digest. His little face has kept me going through some of the darkest hours.”

Boyfriend Taser Hassan has also opened up about the horrifying ordeal, writing: “Another night in hospital, drained and hurt seeing my [Harriet] in pain. Whoever said pregnancy was easy…Just want my family home.”

Six days after Hudson Harley made his entrance into the world, mum and son were pictured on their first walk together: “Today was a big day for Baby H and I! We finally stepped out,” she wrote at the time. “Such a magical feeling! 6 days postpartum."
