He did it! Eminem has just made UK chart history, becoming the first artist to have nine consecutive No.1 albums, with his latest LP 'Kamikaze' entering at the top spot of the Official UK Albums Chart this evening.
The rapper’s tenth studio album which is a response to the haters and negative criticism of his last LP 'Revival', reached a combined chart sales total of 55,000 this week, outselling nearest rival, the 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again' cast recording by three to one.
'Kamikaze' is now the fourth fastest-selling album of the year, behind Arctic Monkeys, Drake and George Ezra, and also now makes Eminem the international act with the most UK No.1s on the Official Albums Chart this millennium!
